a Hairbrush
Project: The Display Case
The first thing you notice in the display case is an object that is highlighted by its banality (a quality not shared by anything else in the collection).
This is a simple hairbrush, with a wooden handle of a color that suggests pine. Black plastic tines grip a wad of hair that clearly did not belong to Corin: this sample’s hue would generally be described as “red”.

The subtle suggestion of a restriction on the objects in the display case: that these objects are not mundane. Nicely played.

“black plastic tines” these are the bristles of the brush.
Are these bristles the sort with the little ball on the end, like the tube-feet of a starfish?
