Earless teddy bear
Project: The Display Case
A taupe teddy bear sits on the shelf. It wears yellow dress made of stiff lace, indicating that it’s for display, rather than a child’s plaything. The arms and legs appear to be jointed, with its arms posed to cradle its head.
The ears are missing, with only two neatly hand-sewn furrows showing where they were. The tips of its paws almost touch the stitches.
