Project: The Display Case
We have talked about the contents of Corin’s cabinet, but not much about the framework that displays these objects.
The cabinet itself has three doors. Each door is composed of bevel-cut rectangles of glass about 13cm tall by 8cm wide. A bronze knob is set at the right edge of the left-hand and middle doors, the left edge of the right-hand door.
The shelves are set at varying heights, the bottommost is the tallest at just under 2ft, the next two at just over 1ft, then the topmost is the narrowest at about 10in.

So, more tall and narrow objects then?

I’m just trying to suggest some sort of limits. Of course, finely detailed miniatures might be set in the case.

And there can always be curio stands, as one might find made of rosewood, for particularly small objects. I think misuba had some intention of infinity akin to the Borjes library, but s/he’s the boss.

Not infinity, just flexibility. I’ve already written objects that wouldn’t make a tremendous amount of sense in this case as described, just for commonplace storage reasons. But whatever, I don’t think it’s crucial.
And welcome, Austringer. How’d you find us?

Your post on unfiction. I generally don’t have enough devotion or the brain HP for most games, especially ARGs, but the puzzles listed in Timewasters are interesting. As a longtime Borjes fan I thought the idea intriguing, and I do like to write.
I’m curious about the mechanics of constructing this. So far the guidelines are very minimal, but I feel like some agreement needs to be made, or authority consulted, prior to submitting more crucial (or potentially crucial) piece of the puzzle.
I’d like to discuss this but it’s off topic for the above post, so feel free to send me a private mail.
