Pillars of Salt

Next to the shrunken head sits a tiny, exquisitely detailed model of an ancient city, sitting amid waves of what at first appears to be sand, but proves, upon close inspection, to be made of salt. In fact, the entire miniature is made of salt. Near the center of the model is a small red dot of paint.
